Who we are
Yada Network (Pty) Ltd is a 100% black female owned company founded in February 2018 and stewarded by Adelaide Cupido. Yada means “to know, to be known and to be respected” and in the context of our work, this is our guiding value in how we accompany the clients we partner with. It means bringing about harmony between our masculine and feminine energies to strike a balance between doing and being.
What we do
Like spiders, we weave webs of connection and possibility, bringing different people and ideas together. This means that we create spaces where people can think for themselves and with others, see each other, hear each other, and connect across boundaries. We do this through:
• Process facilitation
• Mediation
• Legal advisory Services to the Public Sector
Why we do it
We believe that everyone has the answers to their own questions, if they can think for themselves. Thus, we strive to create brave spaces where individuals and teams can show up as fully human, as this allows us to access our imagination and inner wisdom, which in turn gives birth to the unexpected.
How we do it
We see people, and the forms and institutions we create as all integrally connected, in relationship with one another, and thus affecting each other, so that cultivating relationship becomes the central element which characterizes our work. We also approach our work, from the inside out, recognizing that unless people are actively and consciously engaged in their own internal developmental change processes, there is little chance that they can play any significant role in facilitating meaningful change in the relationships of which they are a part (inspired by the Barefoot Guide Collective).
